Karin Joy began her spiritual healing journey in 2001 when an unhealthy and stressful lifestyle left her ill and exhausted.  The first of many life changes was to become a student of Ashtanga yoga in 2002, which she continues to practice.  She has been sprouting and eating a mostly raw food diet for the past 3 years and gives workshops about the benefits of eating raw. (Her sprouts are available for purchase, contact Karin for more details). Karin Joy has her Level II Reiki training (Practitioners certificate) having studied in 2003, 2004 and in 2007. Her life-long love and passion for sound and music have inspired her to train in Sound Healing, and she recently attained certification as a Sound Healing Practitioner. Karin Joy is currently studying Algonquin Shamanism with the 8th Fire School of Algonquin Shamanism, meditation and Egyptian Dance.  It is her desire that her joyous and positive attitude and enthusiasm for life will inspire and support others to reach for their highest potential, through living a healthy, positive lifestyle and connecting with their Joy.
